COVID-19 Pandemic

LRWSC is concerned with the public's and our staff's safety in regards to the Covid 19 Pandemic.  We will follow provincial regulation's as they are updated.   We ask that members of the public do not touch, or enter the offices of our Alix/Mirror, Spruceville, Bentley, and Eckville transfer sites.  Those site attendants will direct and address your questions through the office window, or from a safe distance (3m) outside.  We will strive to keep all sites at normal operating hours during this time.  Please check for updates and affected sites here.

Check in with Site Attendant at all times before unloading material!

Burn Pits:

Burn Pits at all LRWSC sites may be forced to close during County Imposed Fire Bans.  No paper or carboard products, as these items can float away while burning and cause grass fires.

Burn Barrels:

No "hot" material permitted.  Cold material may be dumped in the designated area of each site.  No dumping into Compactor Hopper!

Demolition Waste Material:

We can not accept demolition material at our Landfill without an Asbestos Free Certificate.
